Britannia, INEOS TEAM UK's new AC75 yacht seen for the first time today at their HQ in Portsmouth. She was named ‘Britannia’ in homage to one of Britain’s most famous racing yachts by Julia Ratcliffe, the 11-year old daughter of Sir Jim Ratcliffe INEOS TEAM UK founder and owner. The state-of-the-art boat has taken some 90,000 hours of design and 50,000 hours of construction to create one of the most complex yachts in America’s Cup history. <br />

INEOS TEAM UK today officially christened their first America’s Cup race boat from their HQ in Portsmouth, naming her ‘Britannia’ in homage to one of Britain’s most famous racing yachts. The state-of-the-art boat has taken some 90,000 hours of design and 50,000 hours of construction to create one of the most complex yachts in America’s Cup history. <br />
