The Royal Navy's newest and largest ever warship, HMS Queen Elizabeth leaves Portsmouth this evening for sea trials in the North Atlantic. The aircraft carrier will visit New York and will embark F35 fighter jets for the first time. The carrier is due to enter operational service in 2021.
