Tracy Edwards MBE and crew reunited with Maiden 27 years after sailing into the history books. Maiden and her all-female crew competed in the Whitbread Round The World Race in 1989/90 winning two legs and coming second overall. Over the next 12 months, Maiden will be restored in Hamble near Southampton. She will then sail around the world as an ambassador for the Maiden Factor, to promote access to education for girls.
