Thousands gathered at Liverpool’s Pier Head for the naming of Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne. The event featured performances by Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and unveiled the City of Liverpool as the ship's godparent. Five Liverpool icons, including Melanie C and Olympian Katarina Johnson-Thomson, were on stage to represent the city.
