A view of the solar eclipse at the ancient site of Stonehenge in Wiltshire today during a rare triple combination of a partial solar eclipse on the spring equinox plus a 'super' or perigee moon. The spring equinox occurs when the day and night are of equal length and a perigee moon is when the moon is closest to the earth in its orbit. Today, the moon is the closest for 18 years.
