The bow section of Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne, currently under construction at the Fincantieri Marghera shipyard in northern Italy.

A Queen Anne coin, specially commissioned by Cunard and an original, early 18th century coin from the ship’s namesake’s reign have been welded into the new ship’s keel by Captain Inger Thorhauge in a traditional ceremony at the yard in Venice.

Queen Anne will enter service at the beginning of 2024 and will make up a remarkable quartet alongside Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth.
